Frequently Asked Questions
How Do I Register?
Parents/Guardians can register their child through our website www.campjourneys.com. From there, you will be taken through a list of steps to complete to sign your child up for camp.
Is Food Provided?
Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided to all campers, no matter their schedule (Half Day or Full Day). Lunch will be provided to campers that participate in the program for the full day.
What are the hours and schedule for camp?
Camp Journeys hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We offer early drop-off and late pick-up to accommodate parents/guardian’s schedules. Early drop-off starts at 8:00AM and late pick-up ends at 4:00 PM. Parents will be charged $1.00 a minute for every minute their child is still in our care after 4:00 PM until they are picked up.
What Information is required for Parents to Provide about their child?
Parents will be asked to provide any information that will sure their child’s accommodations and needs are met such as known allergies, diagnosed disabilities, food preference, gender preference or identification, and whether or not your child is potty trained. In addition, we are asking for your child’s medical and dental insurance information, and emergency contat information in case of an emergency.

Safety and Staff Certifications
To obtain employment with our camp, our counselors must complete a back ground check that includes fingerprinting. Staff members are trained prior to the start of camp on our company’s policies and procedures, and are CPR certified.
How are Campers Grouped for Activities and Interaction?
Children are separated and grouped according to an age range that is appropriate for their ability level and developmental stage.
Group Categories are:
Ages 4-7 (Grades Pre-K - 2nd)
Ages 8 - 11 (Grades 3 - 6)
Ages 12 -14 (Grades 7- 8)
Ages 15-17 (Grades 9-11)
