This Month's Weekend Workshop Series is a summit with Preteens and Teens in mind. We will host sessions on Financial Literacy and Social Media Safety & Awareness, to help provide youth with some foundational tools and skills that will help them level up in the game of life.

Session 1: It's LIT - Financial Awareness

Presenter: Krista Bowman - William, Financial Advocate, Educator, and Enthuisiast

Krista will educate our participants on all things money with interactive and engaging activies that will teach them the basics and foundations of budgeting, savings, and money management. Participants will walk away with financial goals set and their own money tool kits to help them continue their education and accomplish their goals. 

Session 2: Think S.M.A.R.T. - Social Media Application Responsibilty Training 

Present: Janelle Bownes, Founder S.M.A.R.T. Org 

Kids love social media, but how "smart" are they when it comes to navigating the apps safely? Janelle will help educate our participants with an engaging and interactive workshop that covers safety and awareness on topics like: Digital Citizenship, Sexting, Cyberbullying, the Dangers and Impact of Social Media and how to effectively utilize the apps. 

Parents are welcome to come and join in on the fun to help support the growth in our participants.
