Camp Journeys Presents: The Chemistry of Candy Virtual STEM Lab

Join Camp Journeys as we encourage the scientist in your child with a fun stem lab that will allow them to create their own sweet treats. Dr. White will walk our campers through a step-by-step lab and educate them on the importance of science. In addition, parents will also receive tips and information on the importance of fostering STEM education in their child. 

Camp Journey's is providing two ticket purchasing options:

1. $20 - price includes a science kit with all the necessary supplies to complete the experiment. There will be an additional $5 charge for each additional child (Kit included). All orders must be placed by October 3, 2020 to ensure a timely delivery. 

2.  $10 - price includes the ticket only. Participants will provide their own supplies.   

     ** Supplies Needed for the Lab if you only purchase a ticket:

              1.  1 cup sugar 

              2.  1/2 cup of corn syrup 

              3.  1 cup of raw peanuts 

              4.  1 teaspoon baking soda 

              5.  1 pinch salt 

              6.  sauce pan 

              7. baking sheet

FYI - Important Information on lab safety!

This lab requires some cooking. We are asking parents with children From ages  5-10 years, to actually perform the lab and let your kid(s) assist. Campers ages 11- 14 years, will need adult supervision and assistance.
