About the event
Join us for a morning of fun as we honor and celebrate the cultural customs and traditions of the holiday .
We will spend the day exploring the significance of the holiday by:
Learning about the history, purpose and context of the holiday from our youth community leaders.
Participating in activities that engage learners in the cultural customs and traditions with floral arranging, arts and crafts, and tamale making.
Honoring our ancestors and deceased loved ones with an altar ceremony.
Becoming knowledgeable on how we can appropriately honor, support, and celebrate the occasion with our LatinX friends.
